ONE BUILDS ONE'S OWN DESTINY

The other day, a caller referred to by a friend seeking
guidance on how to improve her sons performance at
school, confronted me: "When a being's personality trends
are beyond change, what help can I expect from you? You
do astrology, which is a destiny defining discipline, how
can it help improve a being's performing-self?"
Well, if you carry this mistaken belief, I cant help you.
Truth, however, is contrary. Mind it; there's nothing
permanent in this transient world except a continued
process of change. Its our ignorance that keeps us
beholden to preconceived notions that unwittingly abhors
change.
In fact, human beings enjoy the exclusive privilege of
being armed with Buddhi (the faculty of discriminate
intelligence). Applying this exclusive preserve, one
could self-reflect to become aware of our own self the
potentials and vulnerabilities. Following which, applying
one's choice option, which again is an exclusive human
preserve, one could make necessary amends. But often, our
ego does not let us acknowledge our own frailties.
Here comes astrology to our aid. For, serving as a very
potent diagnostic tool, it presents a true mirror-image
of our karmic carry over carried over from the past. This
holds the key to our personality and destiny trends.
Having thus identified and acknowledged indwelling
negative pointers; one could accordingly take necessary
corrective initiatives. The ground is thus laid down to
seek fresh educative inputs, and redefine ones thought
process. For, it is our thought process, which holds the
key to our destiny. So runs the following verse:
"Watch your thoughts, they become words; Watch your
words, they become action; Watch your actions, they
become habit; Watch your habits, they become character;
Watch your character, that becomes your destiny."
It is our mistaken belief that astrology binds us to the
limits of destiny. On the contrary, astrology is a
dynamic discipline. In fact, an astrological chart is
nothing but a graphical reflection of natures energy
orchestra, at the time of ones birth. It's marked with
planetary configuration that moment. A look at the
planetary alignments presents a picture of one's inherent
mental orientation, which could be figured with a fair
amount of precision. According as the frame-up of mind,
one excites desires, which in turn, generates
corresponding thoughts, and which eventually translates
into action. To sum up, it is our thought-trends that
define our destiny. Now, looking at the progression of
planetary bodies in the emerging times, futuristic
destiny trends could be very well figured out.
