Maha Shivaratri

Happy Maha Shivaratri (though new moon is not until Feb. 26).

I hope that Kalidancing upon Shiva in the cremation ground to
bring forth new fire (creativity) from the ashes will result in an
end to my low years (which aren’t very low on my current
medication regimen except in terms of creativity).

I think that the waning crescent and waxing crescent are
like the feet of Kali. In my case my main human
inspirer has been singer/songwriter Sarah McLachlan
but she is currently 7200 km away from me.
